Rebecca is instructed on behalf of private individuals, corporate clients, trade unions, local authorities, NHS Trusts and clients in the education sector in all aspects of employment law and discrimination, principally in and around London. She has a particular interest and experience in maternity, disability and sex discrimination claims and undertakes work in the ET and EAT as well as County and High Courts. She is regularly instructed on injunctions in the High Court, most frequently involving covenants in restraint of trade. She regularly lectures and leads seminars on various employment law topics, and is an external examiner in employment law at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.
Rebecca is the co-author of Employment Tribunal Procedures (2nd and 3rd editions), published by LAG, and since 2000 she has co-authored the Annual Labour Law Review for the Institute of Employment Rights. Since 2008 she has been an editor of Harvey on Industrial Relations and Employment Law.

Henderson v Learning Trust and others; 13/7/09: UKEATPA/0063/09. EAT confirm the application of the guidance given in X v Y [2004] IRLR 625, in a case where a school inclusion manager contended that her right to freedom of expression, guaranteed by Art 10 ECHR, included a right to access sexually explicit emails whilst at work. She was dismissed for this conduct, and her claim failed before the ET and EAT.
