Nadia is a barrister specialising in employment and professional discipline. She represents clients at all levels of Court and Tribunal as well as providing advice and other assistance during legal disputes.
Nadia read law at St John's College, University of Oxford where she was a Lovells prize winner. She was awarded the Frank Knox Fellowship at Harvard University where she attended the Centre for Middle Eastern Studies and Harvard Law School, graduating with an LLM and receiving the Dean's Prize for Leadership. She attended the BVC at the College of Law, London receiving the grade of Outstanding.
In 2004, Nadia was called to the bar and was awarded the Ede & Ravenscroft Student of the Year Prize having obtained the best results in Gray's Inn, where she is a Bedingfield scholar.
Prior to joining Chambers, Nadia worked for the Law Commission of England & Wales and the European Roma Rights Centre, Budapest. She also held lecturing posts at King's College London, Reading University and Westminster University. She was a teaching fellow at Harvard University.
Nadia is committed to pro bono work and acts for the Bar Pro Bono Unit.
Outside of court, Nadia regularly lectures, writes and commentates. Most recently she has appeared on BBC News and Channel 4 discussing the implications of the Court of Appeal’s judgment in Unite v. BA (20 May 2010) concerning injunctions to restrain industrial action.
