Deshpal Panesar successfully represented the IOPC in its defence of 33 claims of discrimination, victimization and harassment by former Met Police Officer Carol Howard.

In a reserved judgment was given on Tuesday 1st May, following a 16 day hearing, the London Central Employment Tribunal rejected all 33 claims of race discrimination, victimization and harassment brought by former Met Police Officer Carol Howard against the former IPCC. Deshpal Panesar acted for the Respondent who succeeded in having all of the Claimant’s claims dismissed as being without foundation. The ET noted that they did not detect any of the discrimination harassment or toxic environment alleged by the Claimant, and all of her claims were dismissed outright.
