News - Four Members of Old Square Chambers to be Appointed Queen’s Counsel

Employment & Discrimination - Ijeoma Omambala QC, Deshpal Panesar QC, Rebecca Tuck QC, Katharine Newton QC

Old Square Chambers is delighted to announce that Ijeoma Omambala, Deshpal Panesar, Rebecca Tuck and Katharine Newton have all been appointed Queen’s Counsel in the 2019 competition.

The new appointments bring the number of silks at Old Square Chambers to 17.

They will officially be sworn in at a ceremony before the Lord Chancellor on Monday 16th March 2020.

Head of Chambers, Oliver Segal QC, commented: “For Old Square to have four of its employment specialist juniors awarded silk this year is a wonderful confirmation of Chambers’ position as a leading employment law set.”
