Andrew was Called to the in Bar in November 2016, but before that worked as a full-time advocate as a solicitor from August 2012. He gained his higher rights of audience in civil courts in November 2014.

Andrew specialises in personal injury and represents both claimants and defendants in trials, stage 3 hearings, application hearings, case management conferences and costs case management conferences. He also has extensive experience of credit hire and repair cost disputes in the context of road traffic accident claims, including appeals.

Between 1997 and 2007, Andrew had a previous career as a teacher, in a variety of educational establishments in both the state and independent sectors. He taught a range of social science subjects to A level, but specialised in A level Politics and is a published author of teaching resources in this area.

Andrew obtained a Distinction in the Graduate Diploma in Law in 2008, before completing a training contract at one of the Southwest’s leading firms of solicitors.

In his spare time, Andrew enjoys sport in various forms and maintains an interest in politics and education.
