Michael is a specialist personal injury practitioner who has extensive experience of all workplace and public liability claims, including harassment, bullying and stress cases. He deals with all types of industrial disease cases.
 
Michael has specific expertise in complex highway and rail related cases and often acts for families, trade unions and others in Inquests.
 
He is well known for his practical approach and his ability to put clients at ease.
 
He regularly undertakes cases funded through CFAs and is a member of the Personal Injury Bar Association.
 
Michael is able to cope with life's disappointments, being a lifelong West Ham supporter. He has been known to pull on the famous claret and blue jersey. Sadly, however, only for the Chamber's 5-a-side team.

Michael is an experienced personal injury practitioner. He acts for both claimants and defendants. He has wide experience of all workplace claims, covering diseases such as HAVS, VWF, NIHL and asbestos   and  including victimisation, bullying and stress cases. His practise includes occupational disease cases, product liability and regulatory compliance.

Michael has specific experience in complex highway and tramway cases. He was instructed by the highway authority in the Sheffield Supertram Litigation: Roe v. Sheffield City Council and others [2004] QB 653.
 
Michael has extensive experience of coroners' inquests.
 
Michael is an active member of the Personal Injury Bar Association

  • McPherson v. LB Camden (QB) LTL 24-5-99. Display Screen Regulations. WRULD.
  • Anderson v. Newham College [2002] EWCA Civ 505 [2003] ICR 212. Workplace Regulations. Breach of statutory duty and contributory negligence.
